Chilled Lavender Towels

A simple ritual to cool the body and calm the mind.

These lavender-infused towels are a summertime essential in our home. Whether used post-workout, after sun exposure, or just as a midday refresh, they offer an instant sense of ease and cooling comfort.

What You’ll Need:

  • 4–6 soft cotton hand towels or Washcloths

  • 1 large bowl of cool, filtered water

  • 4–6 drops lavender essential oil

  • (Optional) A few sprigs of fresh lavender

  • Glass container or sealable bag for storage

How to Make:

  1. Fill the bowl with cool water.

  2. Add the lavender essential oil and swirl gently to combine.

  3. Soak your towels in the water for 1–2 minutes.

  4. Gently wring out excess water.

  5. Roll each towel and place into a glass container or sealable bag.

  6. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.

How to Use:

Drape over the back of the neck, across the chest, or over the face to instantly cool and soothe the senses. These also make a great addition to your next dinner party to hand out to guests before dinner is served.
